For Validators · Solana validator-side runtime

Earn from what
you already own.

You already control proximity to the next block. Catscope turns that proximity into three recurring fee streams.

Solana validator

Three streams · one integration

Three new fee streams.

Catscope adds three independent revenue streams alongside your existing stake rewards. Modular — take any one, or all three.

Read

Sell your view of the network

A share of auction-priced data streaming. Traders bid for access to a live, decoded graph of account state — DEX pools, account relationships, edges, and dependencies — pushed directly from your validator's shared memory. Graph structure is defined by the open-source edge generator. Not raw RPC data — a fundamentally different product that only a validator can offer.

Write

Sell priority to the next block

A share of fees from a continuous bandwidth auction you configure and control. Set the auction period, tick size, and how much capacity you're willing to sell. Traders connect directly and bid for transaction priority — you decide the terms, the auction handles pricing.

Bot

Host MEV strategies in a guest slot

A share of MEV runtime auctions. Catscope runs trader strategies in a sandboxed slot on your spare cores. The auction prices access; you keep a share of every fee generated.

Modular by design

Adopt one. Adopt all three. Your call.

A trading firm that runs its own validator can take Read alone for faster state — and never list on the open marketplace. Another can add Write for priority traffic. Validators start with the stream that fits and stack the others when it pays. Compounding, not all-or-nothing.

Safety

Safe by design.

Three guarantees on the table before you list a single byte. Every one is engineered into the runtime — not a policy promise.

01

Not a sidecar.

Catscope runs on your validator's spare CPU cores. It is not in the data path. There's no proxy, no extra hop, no shadow infrastructure to manage.

02

Skip rate protected.

Transactions are rate-limited inside the runtime. We've measured no impact on slot processing on test hardware. Performance comes first.

03

Anti-sandwich by architecture.

Searchers running in Catscope never see pending transactions that haven't already been submitted to the leader. There's no front-running surface to expose. Your reputation stays clean — automatically.

04

No custom ordering. No bundles.

Catscope does not stall, batch, or reorder transactions. There is no bundle support and no custom block assembly. Your block construction stays exactly as it is today.

05

Not in the critical path.

Catscope is a coordination layer only. It is not involved in transaction submission or inclusion. Nothing routes through it that wouldn't have reached your validator anyway.

Economics

Honest behavior pays more.

Each validator runs multiple auctions per day. Income depends on searchers voluntarily returning and paying high fees for guaranteed bandwidth. If a validator manipulates transactions, searchers leave immediately — and take their fees with them.

Clean records compound: more flow over time

Fair behavior is the higher-revenue strategy — by design.

Integration

We onboard validators directly.

Catscope is in beta. We work with validators one-on-one to get them listed — plugin installation, stream configuration, and on-chain listing are all done with the team.

01

Talk to the team.

Reach out via Telegram. We'll scope which streams fit your setup and walk through what the integration looks like for your specific configuration.

02

Install the plugin.

A single binary running alongside your validator. We guide you through the setup — no fork, no special build.

03

List on-chain.

One transaction registers your capacity on the marketplace. Auction takes care of pricing from there.

04

Watch fees accrue.

Real-time earnings through the Catscope explorer — by stream, by epoch, by bidder.

What's next

The roadmap that pays you.

Every milestone on the Catscope roadmap is designed to increase what listed validators earn.

LST integration

Route Catscope's incremental rewards into partner LSTs. LSTs that include Catscope-running validators yield more — pulling stake flow to you.

On-chain validator reputation

Public, transparent records of skip rate, sandwich rate, and trust score. Clean validators earn higher recurring trust fees. Bad actors get routed around.

Catscope Explorer

Live dashboard of listed validators, auction prices, bot performance, and earnings — public, on-chain, exportable.

CATP token

Governance and utility token for the marketplace. Validators are first-class participants in incentive programs and points campaigns.

Founding validator program

Be early. Earn more.

Validators who list during Catscope's beta and early launch phases are eligible for our incentives program. Points convert directly to token allocation at TGE.

Why this matters

An open, decentralized alternative.

Many validators already earn extra revenue through private market-maker partnerships, custom relays, or off-chain arrangements. Those deals work — but they depend on individual counterparties, opaque terms, and exclusivity. Catscope offers the same kind of value priced on-chain by open auction: any qualified trader, no lock-in, every fee visible in real time. It's not a replacement for the relationships you've built. It's the decentralized layer that compounds alongside them.

FAQ

Common questions.

Will this affect my skip rate?

No measured impact on test hardware. Rate-limiting is built into the runtime, and the plugin runs on spare cores rather than in the validator's data path.

Do I need to run a special client?

No. Catscope is a plugin to your existing Agave validator. No fork, no special build, no restart of running stake. Firedancer support is a top engineering priority post-round.

Can I opt out of any individual stream?

Yes. Streams are independent. Take Read alone if you only want faster data monetization; add Write or Bot when it pays.

What's the take rate?

Catscope takes ~10% of marketplace earnings. You keep ~90%. All pricing is set by a continuous on-chain auction — no opaque fee tiers.

How fast is the read path?

~35ms validator-internal read latency measured on Solana mainnet — an order of magnitude ahead of standard alternatives (Yellowstone gRPC ~300ms, public RPC sub-100ms dedicated). Independent third-party benchmark forthcoming.

What happens if a searcher in my guest slot misbehaves?

The architecture prevents the most common form of misbehavior (front-running unsubmitted transactions) at the runtime level. Bidder reputation is public; misbehaving searchers get systematically routed around by the marketplace.

Are bot hot keypairs safe on my machine?

Yes. Bots that need to sign transactions use keypairs that are guarded by SafeJar — an on-chain program that enforces permissioned, rate-limited spending from those keypairs. Even though the keypair is exposed to the validator's hardware, SafeJar ensures it can only be used within defined limits.

What happens if a bot writer goes offline?

Bots require a constant streaming connection from the bot writer's remote system to stay active. If that connection drops and isn't restored, the bot is automatically evicted. You are never left hosting an abandoned bot indefinitely.
